I was desperate to find help. I was lost. I finally had the opportunity I was looking for becoming an adjuster but, I wasn’t prepared with real world experience. I found Adjuster Insights one night on a referral from a friend and I immediately applied to be a member of Adjuster Insights when I saw that it was a community for adjusters and others in the insurance industry. The owner of Adjuster Insights reached out to me and told me about the education available within the community as well as an active job board with potential opportunities in it. After applying to one of the postings in my region I was hired within the week and with the support of Adjuster Insights, I am now working daily claims for 3 carriers and confidently completing my work! I am so thankful I found this community of informed and welcoming people! Now I am working commercial claims, fire claims and the traditional daily claims!

I joined Adjuster Insights server looking for a space to associate with other adjusters. My intention was simply to be part of a community and hopefully have the chance to "connect," but once I got inside, I realized this was much larger than I anticipated.
Within just two weeks of joining, I received my first assignment directly from the server. The following week, I landed a commercial claim with a fee bill large enough to cover four years of subscription costs while still turning a profit. Since then, I’ve been hired by four firms, received work from three of them, and am now servicing several direct partners.

In the beginning as an adjuster, many people know it’s not easy to find training or mentors who aren’t charging $500–$2,000. I had a lot of trouble finding a reasonably priced training course or a company willing to give me a chance. As a father of three children, we didn’t have the flexibility to miss work for 5–10 days of work to attend a $1,000 training course 2 states over.
I had put in over 100 applications for trainee positions and didn’t get any opportunities. Then one day I found a company called Visionary Claims Group. I spoke with Nicholas C. and Kevin F., and they were not only willing to get me on the roster with Visionary Claims Group and take a chance on me, but they also added me to a Discord community called Adjuster Insights. Little did I know that this Discord group would become a godsend in the early stages of my career as an adjuster.
Anything I needed to know was either already discussed in the chat rooms, or I could ask a question, and veteran adjusters would respond with patience and no judgment. They’re not only patient with new adjusters, but genuinely happy to help people in the group work through problems that come up during the claims process—whether it’s help sketching in Symbility, finding the right line items, or identifying damage on site during an inspection.
The people in this group seem to have an answer for just about anything you might run into. I truly can’t imagine how much harder the start of my career would have been without them.

The Adjuster Insights Community has been an incredible resource for me as an
independent adjuster. It’s a great place for both new and experienced adjusters to connect, ask questions, and learn from each other. The knowledge shared in the group has helped me improve my skills, better handle claims, and grow professionally.
